Welcome to Kindergarten!

Hello kindergarten families!

Each week a blog post will be sent out through email. This blog post will have important information as well as a recap of what we did that week. This week I am choosing to do a little intro of myself and Ms. Alicia so you can get to know us a little bit. Please save this link so that you can have it to check for important announcements and dates. Don't forget about the ice cream social August 13th at 5pm. You can take a tour of the classroom and eat a yummy treat! If you walk through the front doors and go straight down, our classroom is the last one on the right. If you have forgotten your lemonade drop in time, staggered entry day or covenant conference time, please email me. It will also be posted outside of our classroom. Covenant conferences are August 13th and 14th. Each conference is about 30 minutes. You may bring your forms and class supplies then. Lemonade Drop in is August 17th. You picked a 9, 10 or 11 am slot. Staggered entry is August 18th, 19th or 20th. Remember staggered entry is your child's first full day but they are only with a few of their classmates. August 21st is our first full day as a family! School hours are: 8:15-2:45. 

Welcome to our class! Ms. Alicia and I are so excited to meet you. We wanted to introduce ourselves before we met all of you. My name is Mrs. Schultz! My husband Jack and I have a black lab named Penny. She goes everywhere with us! Jack and I met at East Carolina University and we are huge Pirate fans. Jack played football for ECU, so we go to every home football game. You will often find me wearing purple and gold. ;) We live in Huntersville, on exit 23 in Vermillion. We both enjoy taking Penny to the lake, whitewater rafting, going to the beach and trying new restaurants. 

Hello! My name is Ms. Alicia. My husband Jay, coaches basketball here at CSD for our High School girls varsity team. We have two children, Ansley and Jackson. Ansley is a senior this year, and Jackson will be in the 9th grade. We also have two dogs, very cute poodles named Biggs and Lady. We live in Cornelius, a town that we love!
